Human Resources Director
With an extensive background in human resources, Dan joined The MENTOR Network in 2011 as human resources director for the organization’s Redwood Operating Group. In this role, he provides guidance to employees throughout MENTOR Oregon.
Since beginning his career in 1992, Dan has held numerous titles at companies in California and Texas, including human resources/operations manager for J.C. Penney and human resources advisor-U.S. pipelines & logistics for BP America-ARCO. He prides himself on being an innovative human resources professional with strong business, leadership and labor-relations skills who can manage recruitment, HR systems implementations, and HR and business operations.
Dan has a bachelor’s degree in business administration: management and human resources from Cal Poly Pomona and also holds certifications as a Sr. Human Resources Processional and Certified Labor Relations Professional. He has also been a foster parent to 10 children.
